If you’re like me, you like to know a smattering of many things rather than a lot about one thing and, when it comes to conversation, it’s nice to be able to contribute a little rather than sound like a ‘know it all’. ‘A Smattering Of’ takes the form of small amounts of information or reports which will allow you to be an all-rounder with the minimum of effort (mine (effort), yes, yours, no!) These smatterings will contain at least two thousand words and cost very little.
To date, titles include:-
PLEASE NOTE that the Ebola information has been updated, as of 6th. October 2014 and will continue to be updated when it seems appropriate.
Five a Day – In One Fell Swoop – a look at how you can easily consume five a day and then concentrate on other things. From Toilet to Tap – this little gem looks at the journey that used household water makes (both kitchen and toilet) from leaving our homes via the drains, to its eventual return to our taps. Glaucoma, Bono, Me and many Others – after hearing Bono, of the Irish group U2, state that he has had glaucoma for twenty years, I, who has the same, felt that a door had been opened. While glaucoma means that life as I knew it had changed, like Bono, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the actual pleasure of life has to change. Bono said nothing of the way glaucoma affects him and, though it affects everyone in a different way, I have written this booklet to explain what causes glaucoma, what happens and who is at risk. I have finished this booklet with a summary of how glaucoma affects me, so as to give a picture of this eyesight condition to those who want to know more. Save Money, Save Time –
Wouldn’t we all like to save money? And save time too.
Today’s society means rushing around to make ends meet. It means watching every penny and trying to cut back until there seems nothing left to cut back on.
I’ve been there. As a single parent of three children, I remember that one minute they were children and then, incredibly, and without me noticing, they were adults. Time flew; it flew because I was so busy earning money, looking after my children’s needs, maintaining a home and sleeping.
As a result of the speed of life, we haven’t time to notice that we are wasting money, and time, too.
In this small booklet, I have brought together a few tips which will make you think about where your money goes. Hopefully, these tips will get you thinking of others which I haven’t listed. If it does, please share your tips with me and I promise to update this book for the readers.
Remember that good old saying – look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves – this works the same with dollars, euros and all other currencies, folks!
If we find ways of saving money, our cash will stretch further and maybe you and I won’t need to find an extra little job to make ends meet. Now we’re talking about saving time and we’d all like to have more of that ……. If you’d like to know more, please click on either Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk
